Seven Reason To Detox Your Body

Do you believe you can experience abundant, vibrant, and optimal health?  If not, what is holding you back from achieving this?  Some of us consider ourselves to be whole women, but we do not eat whole food nor do we enjoy living a healthy life.  If we took the time to prioritize our health the way we prioritize our careers, our finances and our family relationships, we would discover that our overall health fuels all of these areas.
Many of us do not realize how our clogged colons, the excess weight we carry and our sedentary lifestyles, stifle our decision making processes in both our professional and personal lives.  One of the fundamental teachings I have learned regarding self-care is the power of detoxing and cleansing my mind, body, and spirit.  This process involves emptying myself of toxic matter, followed by replenishing with healthy, nourishing foods and lifestyle choices.  Are you ready to detox your body and allow healing to take place in your life?  If so, read on.
7 Reasons to Detox Your Body

1.  Boost Your Life Energy
Detoxing is a process of eliminating old fecal matter, old toxic thoughts, toxic patterns, toxic relationships and creating and transforming them into something new and positive. Taking a break from eating old processed junky food and filling your body up with organic, some raw, living, unprocessed, natural whole; foods that you can pronounce and recognize.  When you do this on a regular basis, you will discover how whole, plant-based foods fuel your body’s energy reserves.
2. Heal Your Mind, Body & Spirit
As you detox your body, you will discover how connected we really are to our minds and our spirits. It’s the trinity of life itself.  If one isn’t working properly then the other pieces aren’t going to work properly either. Everything is a marriage and in order to have a successful marriage the parts inside of the marriage have to be in balance.  Healing is simply about creating balance in the body, mind and spirit.
3. Reduce Stress
The body becomes stressed when it is bogged down with artificial foods. And when it does that it attracts stressful situations into our lives. If you are eating what we call a SAD (Standard American Diet) then your body doesn’t recognize more than half of what you call food in your body and so it is undernourished. Undernourished bodies result in weight gain and other diseases of the body. We do not realize that our relationship to food reflects on other connections to our finances, personal relations and more.  When we eat foods that create stress within our bodies and minds, we attract experiences that lack peace and balance.  Imagine the meat that you are eating and the stress that an animal endured when it died.  You are in turn absorbing all of that stress.
4. Improve Your Digestion
One of my greatest teachers told me that constipation is the only disease and proper digestion is the way to optimal health. If your body is properly digesting nutrients and minerals , it’s easier for you to enjoy abundant health. Our bodies are highly intelligent vessels. We honor that blessing by helping it easily do its job when we detox and eat natural, whole and healthy foods.
5. Gain Mental Clarity
When I do a detox, I get more work done in a day than I can would normally finish in a week. Why? Because I’m a clear channel, I can easily make decisions, move on projects and execute them because my body is cleaned out and therefore my mind is clear.
6. Rejuvenate Your Spirit
All of the ancient gurus, sages and teachers knew the power of detoxing and cleansing. They knew that the physical vessel we harbor in called the body needs to be cleaned out like anything else, a house, a car, a garage. Imagine if you did not clean out your house, your car, or your garage for a year. What would it look like? What would it feel like? What would it smell like? And who are you inviting inside of it?
7. Achieve Your Ideal Weight
If you are interested not in weight loss, but in maintaining a body weight that feels really good to you, detoxing is the way to go. Yo-yo dieting, working out in gyms to lose weight, and diet pills are so last decade. Achieving your ideal weight is about getting your body back to its natural state through eating right and taking part in doing fun movements that feed your spirit. Walking outdoors, swimming, belly dance, yoga and stretching are fun, ideal ways to get the body moving and naturally shed weight.  The amount of cardio you do helps you work up a sweat and will stimulate your metabolism.  The end result is a body that is using its fuel efficiently and becoming toned and strong.
Consider how you can begin to detox your body and your life.  Take the steps that you can to ensure that you’ll experience a healthier and happier you.
Happy Cleansing! :))

Get Slim And Sexy With Juicing

Juicing fresh fruits and vegetables can boost your energy, rev up your metabolism and trim unwanted weight off your body.  You’ve probably seen the “Juiceman” juicer and other commercials advertising the benefits of juicing.  Check out some of the benefits of juicing, as well as a delicious juice recipe you can try right now!

Reasons for Juicing
  • *Fresh fruits and vegetables contain numerous amounts of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.  You can use organic fruits and vegetables to get the most nutrients out of your food.  The enzymes, fiber, vitamins A, C, K, E and others can help your body fully absorb them and protect your body from cancer causing cells.
  • *Fresh juice has absolutely no fat and can actually help you lose weight.  Health conscious people who go on nutritional juice fasts report losing a few pounds per week when not ingesting cooked or heavy foods.  A juice fast can be done in conjunction with eating only live, raw foods for greater health and body healing.
  • *Fresh juice can help your body throw off toxins.  This will help you to lose weight in addition to feeding your skin, nails, hair and other internal organs.  The juice hydrates your body and will give you added energy for your day.
  • *As the toxins leave your body, your skin will become clearer and your tummy will get flatter!
  • You can replace caffeine drinks, including coffee and soda by drinking a container of fresh juice per day.  Why not fill up your coffee mug with fresh juice.
  • *Tasty, fresh and nutritious veggies and fruits to juice include apples, carrots, kale, broccoli, cucumber, celery, parsley, chard, beets, cabbage, oranges and more!  You can plan your juice combinations according to what your body needs.  Need more calcium?  Juice a combination of greens such as kale, broccoli and parsely.
  • *Fresh juices can boost your immune system and clear mucus from your body.
Always consult your medical doctor before starting a new diet or nutrition regimine.  You can also consult a naturopathic doctor and holistic nutritionist for more information on the benefits of juice fasting.
Here is a delicious juice combination that is sweet and a bit spicy.  Enjoy!
  • Fresh Goddess Kale, Carrot and Ginger Delight
6 Organic Kale leaves
6 Organic carrots (large)
2 Organic Red Delicious or other apple
2 Organic beets (small to medium)
2 Tbl Ginger root
1 Garlic clove (large)
1 Organic lime (small)
Wash all fruits/veggies.  Peel the garlic clove and the ginger root.  Note: If you’re on blood pressure medication or you have difficulty ingesting spicy foods, you can omit the ginger and garlic or use half of the above. Chop up the vegetables and apples small enough to run them through your juicer.  This should make enough juice for 2 servings. You can always add more to give greater serving amount.

Work In Silence And Secret Until You Get Your Project Off The Ground

It takes a baby nine months to develop in the dark, warm, nurturing environment of a mother’s womb.  When you have a plan, a big dream, a huge idea, sometimes it’s best to keep your baby hidden, nurtured and protected.  We often hear about award winning novelists who spent years and years writing a book that they told no one about.  And then one day, the book is published and presto – it’s now on on the New York Times bestseller list.  The author becomes a household name and everyone thinks they’re an overnight success.  It may appear that way, but no one knows about the teary, weary nights eating out of a tuna can or what the writer went through.  The reason no one knows is the writer/genius didn’t divulge all of the blood and sweat details until their “baby” was ready for the world.  Creative people know that you don’t blab what you’re doing, you work and perfect it until it’s done.
Some people don’t mind telling all of their business and details of their dreams to just anyone. They feel the need to share because to them “sharing is caring.”  It allows people to get wrapped up in their drama and possibly even invest in it financially.  They get an idea and they tell the whole world before it has been organized and constructed.  Six months to a year later, behold their idea has fully blossomed!  Well sort of.  They’re still putting the pieces together, oh and they need you and this one and that one to look it over for validation and…well you know, it becomes a full production before it’s really a production.  And then, nothing.  They don’t want to bring the project forth anymore or everyone they told somehow talks them out of it.  Sound familiar?  They ran their mouths about their goal or project.  It’s as if all of their hot air, in the form of verbage squeezed the momentum right out of the project, leading to a lackluster release, performance, product or less than successful business.
Resisting the urge to be a big mouth can be hard when you’re feeling confident, excited and wanting to prove to others that you can really pull something off.  But if it’s proving something to others that you’re worried about, then you have a problem.  You’ll never stop proving.
It’s more powerful to just be quiet actually.  Sometimes listen to what others have to say.  Conduct research.  Get ideas from reading and studying, rather than blabbing all of yours to 6, 8 or a dozen others.  Be concerned about the quality and intent of what you are creating, rather than making other people believe that it’s to be celebrated.
If you’ve ever confided in people about an idea only to later lose the steam needed to manage it, or you’ve shared a budding project and had your idea smashed by those close to you – now is the time to shut your mouth and obey the God or Goddess within!   You just may decide not to go through with it.  And that’s okay.  You have a right to change your mind and your heart.  But once you’ve told a hundred people, they’re all coming back to ask you, “Why aren’t you doing it?”  And “Well what happened?  I thought everything was popping off for you!”  Who wants to hear all of that?  I wouldn’t.  It takes the j out of your j-o-y, left feeling like you let the cat out of the bag too soon.
And now instead of focusing on the next thing that you’re sure of, you have to answer a ton of questions and look like you’re indecisive and don’t know what you’re doing.  It’s best not to involve others until you are 100% on something, unless it’s a loved one you’re close to, a trusted mentor or business coach.
Heaven and earth will move in your favor when you commit to an idea or plan.  But keeping it pure and untouched is key.  Pure meaning, there aren’t a bunch of other people’s hands in the pot who have a different agenda than you.  Or unsupportive, naysayers in your midst intend to shut down your creativity and ideas.  Also in this categories, are people who drain your energy because they always have an emergency and need you right when you need to be working in your lab!
Let’s be honest here, not everyone has your best interest at heart.  Not everyone can positively contribute to your big vision.  This isn’t being negative or paranoid, this is just a reality we all have to learn in life.  Use your intuition and be protective when you are creating something new.  You need to draw upon all your ideas, imagination and inner resources before you let out your plan into the world.  When you let it out, it will take form and merge with so many other things.  This could be good, or not so good if you don’t quite have a vision on where you’re headed.
I know many artists and business people who use this philosophy.  If nothing else, you may need to work in silence and secret until you get your project off the ground so that no one takes your idea.  When something is for you, it’s for you.  No one can stand in the way if you truly believe in yourself.  Just treat your dream like a baby developing as nature intends and everything will be fine.
Much love and success!
